Yes, it was bad yesterday 08:18 - Apr 21 with 320 views | muccletonjoe | Anyone trying to see it any other way , is very much clutching at straws. When the dust has settled though , it has to be seen in context, our players are in no doubt relegation is coming, Arsenal knew they had a team to over run us , and on the back of a major European win 4 days previous, confidence was sky high. Davis getting red carded cemented those facts even further into the psyche of the game. Next season , when the opposition isn't of the same quality, our own confidence will need to return, because at the moment it is shot to pieces , from playing it out of the back and getting the ball taken off us like school kids , to playing it out of our own half and rushing into the wrong pass or a snapshot which has no hope of finding the target. Couple this with injured players returning to full fitness and hungry to do well, we have to hope that everything returns to the previous 2 seasons and confidence returns to the whole team and our way of playing.
Yes, it was bad yesterday on 08:31 - Apr 21 with 239 views | britbiker | Can't disagree with anything you said. Depending on who we sell, retain etc, we should have a competitive team, however the midfield and striking dept will need upgrading once loanees return. Momentum cannot be underestimated though. Just look at Luton. I was hoping we could finish the season with some reasonable performances, not necessarily wins. Yesterday was awful, then we have Newcastle who will no doubt return to form after their loss. We also have west ham who we played dreadfully against earlier in the season. Pleased the likes of Chaplin are still around as we will need players like him next season. At least the injury to philogean has taken him out of the firing line. Hopefully a good preseason will get him and ogbean back into form
