Those clubs who find themselves regularly jostling for position in the Lower half of the league have now got the comfort of knowing the promoted clubs are highly unlikely to have the financial ability to compete with them, let alone being able to cope with the rest of the circus , which features the headline acts of referees dishing out decisive moments like clowns with buckets of water and the VAR ringmasters seemingly much more eager to see justice done for their regular customers on the Premier league fixture list , than the single season visitors from the championship.
Should the Town find themselves in a position this time next season to make another attempt at the elite, at least we will all have fresh memories of what can and more than likely, will be awaiting us in another ride through gold lined grounds of the Premier league.
