Is there an advantage or disadvantage still playing 3 weeks later? on 06:10 - May 4 with 458 views | LA_Tractor_Boy | Depends on injuries. Finish the season injury free, then 5 weeks off to recharge mentally and physically is perfect IMO. But if a player misses a chunk of pre-season because they haven't had time to recover from a summer operation or niggling injury, then this impacts their fitness the following season. Look at what happened to Broady this season. I really hope Ogbene, Philogene and Szmodics are ready to start pre-season training at the end of June/beginning of July. 2025/26 is going to be tough for Wes.

Not going to be an issue for us at all without players all going off for a major tournament. Agreed if our injured players are back from injury for pre-season they will be nice and fresh.
