They used to film Only Fools all over the place to try and stop fans turning up and getting in the way, but most shots of Nelson Mandela House from the outside were filmed in Bristol, close to Ashton Gate, sometimes you can see the floodlights in the background.

I thought everyone knew, you can see Burtons I think when Rodney's bit starts.

What you might not know is the bit at the end in the churchyard staring over the sea at Freddy the frogs sunken gold, actually was filmed St Mary's church in Framsden.

They're staring at trees in Suffolk, not water, they edited the sea in later.

Production was probably based in Ufford or Woodbridge I think whilst they filmed these bits locally
