I have never understood when clubs boo their own players. He is their best local lad superstar since Gerrard, who they idolise despite him being apparently close to moving to Chelsea at the peak of his career. He didn’t and their fans idolise him as Mr Liverpool, presumably what they expected TAA to be as well. Football is a funny game. |
Trent's also won 2 league titles for them, something slippery Steven never managed to do. He was also going to go to Chelsea, until some unsavory people got involved. |  |
