Walsall v Chesterfield 21:56 - May 16 with 608 views | Churchman | Unlike the rubbish last night, a proper game with two teams trying to play. I see Kieron Dyer is still working for Paul Cook at Chesterfield. They’ve lost but looked decent to me. Dobra - too good for L2. Tidy little player.

That was a farcial end. Presumably the ref had to restart it as they had a minute of injury time remaining.

He may have a point, but there's probably very little chance that Chesterfield would have got the two additional goals required to remain in the tie at that point. It reminds me a little of the relegation play-off between Fortuna and Hertha in 2012. Similar circumstances; but Hertha required one goal to take the tie to extra time, and Fortuna fans decided to invade the pitch just as Hertha were looking the more likely to score. As a Hertha fan, I'm definitely not bitter about this! 🤣
