In Phil’s latest news article, it states the O’Shea fee was £7m.
I thought it was reported as £12m, but maybe the other £5m is add ons, including staying up.
It does make you wonder how much we truly have paid out on all of the players signed.
The Delap clause looks like a 100% increase on what paid as the release clause. £15m paid, release £30m.
Is Omari’s alleged release clause the same? Release clause £35m, so possibly we paid £17.5m up front, with the rest add ons?
A lot of supposition, but I guess we will never really know. Does make me wonder if we haven’t paid out as much as people think. |  | | |  |
