The first team to "do a Luton*" (*of the past couple of seasons) were. on 20:54 - May 22 by BrandonsBlues
So were Bristol City & Wolves in a quite exclusive club of 3 relegations?
I guess so … i do actually remember a glut of clubs suffering that fate of consecutive drops in the early 80’s. I’d forgotten about Bristol but I clearly remember back to back to back relegations for Wolves .. I wonder if they could’ve gone into the conference too ? Looks like Swansea survived by one position joining those 2

In fact Wolves had a heck of a decade in the 1980s.
1980 won the League Cup. 1982 down to Division 2. 1983 up to Division 1. 1984 down to Division 2. 1985 down to Division 3. 1986 down to Division 4. 1988 up to Division 3 and Sherpa Van Trophy winners. 1989 up to Division 2.

They couldn't say it was dull!
That was the Steve Bull (and Andy Mutch) era too in the later part of the decade ?
