He stays. If he does not believe that he goes.

Poll: If we sing for 90 mins for all remaining games, how many points is it worth?

Let's be honest, If they pay more and he feels it offers a better career progression long term then he goes. Just as any of us would in our careers...

He probably dosn't give a toss about being compared to Robson or Ramsey and why should he?

Not necessarily any/all of us. There are far more important things than money, but yes I won’t deny there’d be a pull. It depends what else he’d looking for, and let’s not forget he’s turned down career progression at least once while he’s been with us. This is a different scenario at a differe time though.

It’ll be what it will be.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Different eras, back in them days managers moved less, people were more patient and less demanding and there was no huge money.

Now as a manager if you win 4 in a row anywhere you are hailed as a magician and a special one but the next week you lose to Wigan and are one step from the sack.
It all bull*hit.

Alternatively just plant a Russian vine. Then you will spend all your spare time cutting the bl00dy thing.

Neighbour planted one on our boundary fence. The thing had a beserk growth spurt during the growing months. Took my spade and severed it from it's roots and it mysteriously died. Oh dear, what a shame !
