Of course I understand re the quality of players around him will help. It help any player.

Edit: FAO of stokieblue. If you read my original post again, yiu will see i have asked the question, is it the difference between coaching. That's not a dig at McK at all and certainly wasnt intended to be so
. If you perceive it is, that's your problem. Questions are allowed to asked you know!
I've only seen your post because I'm working somewhere different today and your not blocked on that computer. All other computer access to this forum, I've blocked you along with 2-3 other gaslights on here. So don't waste your time answering this post, although I doubt you'll be able to refrain, as you like the sound of your own voice on here, which is very boring, hence the block. Have a good day

Coaching has nothing to do with it. He’s only been there 2 minutes. Basically, here he was on his own with most of the rest chasing shadows vainly trying to defend our penalty area. The nearest he ever got to service was a launch from the back for him to win a header against two or three players with no team mate within marathon running range.

You could argue he’s now able to put into practice what he learned on the training pitch under McKenna and able to use it in a proper team. One with a midfield and top players around him.

But when it comes down to it, who knows. It’s just speculation and guesswork. Many be the Chelsea mush has waved a wand in a way he wasn’t for the pitiful Nkunku. And actually who cares? Not our player. He’s stepped up a couple of levels to Chelsea, is probably on a good contract and is nothing to do with us any more beyond a bit of £ if he does well.

Gaslighting: psychological manipulation of a person usually over an extended period of time that causes the victim to question the validity of their own thoughts, perception of reality, or memories and typically leads to confusion, loss of confidence and self-esteem, uncertainty of one's emotional or mental stability, and a dependency on the perpetrator.

I don't think anyone is gaslighting on here, are they?

I'm delighted for the lad. He put in huge effort for us and was easily our best player who was clearly destined for a top team. We just aren't ready yet, so let's be grateful that we've had a top player on his journey - he provided most of the highlights in what was for the most part a very tough season.
Watching him for Chelsea, what a difference to be playing in a team where they are more on the front foot, with other top players making runs into space and opening up options. As a young player with his ability, that's where he needs to be for his own sake. If we had been a bit more ready for the PL, and managed to stay up, his release clause wouldn't have been triggered. I wish him every success and hope to see hm in the England #9 shirt very soon.

Poll: would you rather

I imagine it helped having runners from midfield to square the ball to :-)

And playing for a team which has 65% possession, rather than the other way around, when you are feeding off scraps.

Poll: Should horse racing be banned in the UK?

So noticeable isn't it... so what's that down to. Mckenna's way vs the Chelsea way? No running with his head down with the ball from the half way line!

Maybe the squad of multi million players around him?
