I've only just set up VPN on all our personal devices since matter of time before get hacked these days.

Really noticeable battery drop off on phone. Any tips?

AI says wireguard is a vpn that consumes less battery.

I run Google vpn on my android pixel 9 and that is 50 percent still at end of day.

VPN's are great for reasons many of us on here have in common, but they don't really protect you from being hacked. Depending on the provider they may actually offer less security or privacy than your ISP.

Strong passwords, a reputable password manager and MFA offer much more protection.
