Guthrum has already posted exactly what I meant. After a huge spell of success he has to turn the ship around, that is the true test.

If you look at a certain Mr. Roy Keane at Sunderland, he was the messiah when things were going well, he could do no wrong. When things went pear shaped he couldn't stop the rot, and has never done any good since.

I believe the OP is referring to the lack of signings when they refer to "momentum". Do they think KM is responsible for getting negotiations and contracts done?

Even if he/she is talking about on the pitch stuff, the season doesn't start for 6 weeks. What is he supposed to be showing exactly and how?!

I'm referring to momentum in general. I'm not concerned about lack of signings. My point is that just as promoted teams have been odds on to be relegated, relegated teams have a good recent track record of returning to the PL.

We can't throw this parachute money advantage away.
