"Norwich agree £11m Kvistgaarden deal
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph

Norwich City have agreed a deal worth £11m for Brondby striker Mathias Kvistgaarden.

It’s understood the Denmark international has also agreed terms on a four-year deal with the English Championship club.

Kvistgaarden, 23, is due to arrive in England this week to undergo a medical and finalise the paperwork on his move. "

I also read around 7m plus add ons could rise to 10m but never heard of him.

Would have liked Harry Darling here though

Cam Burgess left here presumably because the Town management did not consider he was not good enough for what they wanted.

He went to Swansea.

Having got Cam, Swansea released Darling because their management thought he was not good enough for what they wanted.

Darling went to Norwich.

Are we surprised ?

They knew they’d get some fairly decent funds in too.
Losing this weasel will help.

Apparently they've tracked him since 2019. He's 23 now. Obviously he may turn out to be terrible but I hope we have or are developing a broader scouting setup.

Burgess turned down a new deal with us and probably went to Swansea because they could guarantee he'd be first choice during a World Cup year, whereas we couldn't guarantee that.

Harry Darling turned down a new contract at Swansea to sign for Norwich because he's from Cambridge and worked with Liam Manning at MK Dons so the move made sense for him.

For what it's worth, I would've taken Darling here as a back up to Greaves to replace Burgess.
