Good luck to him. At his age he is L2 at best.

Or he cod have signed, taken them for 15k a week and been rubbish!

Not that I disagree with your sentiment but wouldn't that be hilarious

Poll: Will Phil ever confirm we are actually close on a signing ever again

He played 18 times for West Ham last season so I think you're doing him a bit of an injustice.

Wouldn't have been against him coming here, but he wouldn't dislodge Davis and Townsend has a good years on him. He'll do well at Stoke i think.

Whilst we didn't need him given we are well stocked at LB.

What a footballer, what a professional, will do very well with Stoke still at 35 - will want that move closer to home you would think now.

Wish him all the very very best!

Yep, good move for all parties I reckon. Solid player with vast experience joining a solid side. He'll help bring their younger players on while also being able to contribute at left back or the left side of a back 3 as he's done at West Ham. From his perspective its a nice move, good standard of football and much closer to his family as you say.

Another year older. Players dont stay the same as when they were 20.

He will be found out this season with wingers who have pace
