Absolute delight all round at his wicket too. Still a lot of his bowling is fast for the sake of it, needs to hone that a bit more and keep the more effective start. Given his injury record, the likelihood of Archer being fir enough to bowl 30 overs a match regularly is slim & there's no point in playing him if he isn't going to bowl at express pace. The idea that Archer & 35 years old Mark Wood are going to scare the Aussies witless this winter seems fanciful at best. I think Archer genuinely wants to make his mark on Test cricket, but becoming a white ball specialist seems much more realistic. |  |
