Hirst rejected us initially for Blackburn
Didn't stop McKenna wanting them.
Players that are above our level are not just going to sign for us because they've always dreamed of playing for Ipswich. They are going to assess all their options. It doesn't mean if they do sign in the end that they are any less invested once they get here. |
I think its slightly different with Hackney though, all the players you mention had alternatives to us on the table, take your pick so to speak, HH has nothing else and yet is hanging on for other offers to appear which for me puts me off a bit, that said, excellent player and would be a brilliant signing. |  |
