Think his best season was playing in the 10 but obviously can play the 9 as well. A bit more battle tested at this level which could mean we are still in for Azon from Como and then move AAH on for a fee?
Still a little underwhelmed as we were apparently shopping in different markets but this is Boro and Brum target.
However, we desperately need some reinforcements up top and he's done it at this level so makes complete sense from that a perspective. |  | | |

Hard to upgrade Hirst without serious £££.
Hard to get backup for Hirst if they know they aren’t starting.
Akpom seems a decent happy medium, with the option to play him behind too. | |

Agree with that with how Hirst has progressed and suits our style, knows KM so well etc, very confident in him this year so I guess we didn't really need to go all in on a 15M striker. We do have the funds of course.
I wonder if we are still in for the Azon from Como and then loan out or sell Ali but then it would be what, possibly 3 loans with an obligation to buy if we went up? (and get Jens across the line).
That said you could always loan out or sell a couple of them if need be quite easily back to the Champ. [Post edited 4 Aug 17:04]
