Jack Clarke is a lucky boy 22:56 - Aug 12 with 2137 viewscbower

Al-Hamadi is getting all the pelters for his admittedly poor performance (underscored by the crucial penalty miss) whilst £15-20 miĺion Jack Clarke just meekly repeatedly gave away possession for the second game in a row. For a player with such pedigree at this level, his performance was weakly insipid and worthy of more scrutiny.

You can tell he’s struggling in real time, but those stats ram home how bad he’s been. For a ball carrier those are awful, especially against a club a couple of tiers lower.

I mentioned it last night and was serious. There’s no way I’d be letting Broady go whilst keeping Clarke. Philogene and Broady would give us great options on the left, far more versatile than Philogene and Clarke. Plus we’re blunting Leif by trying to squeeze him around wingers, whereas Broady brings the best out of him by creating the space.

He was sussed by the defenders last night, let him run at us and then gang up on him and take the ball away,no problem!

Feels like we are playing him because we paid that much for him. If you ignored any fees paid for players, I'm not even sure he would make the bench for me (maybe atm because of injuries/ lack of signings). In a similar role we have several players (even just the ones willing to play) who are much better.
