So it seems the club are using the work of photorealist painter Louise Cobbold for all the programmes this season.

Seems like a missed opportunity to me. Personally, while obviously executed very well I can't think of a more boring medium than photorealism - just use a photo...

But, it seems stupid as the work that Call Me Ted did last year on covers, until the club cancelled the arrangement, was so great - intelligent, unexpected, full of wit and celebrating a bunch of local creatives.

Seems like they've sacked Ted off, copied the idea, and made it bland.

Potentially lends credence to one of the excuses trotted out, that the players didn't like not being on the cover.

I struggle to believe that the players are quite that hung up with being on the programme cover though.

	Not a prophet, or a stone-age man; just a mortal with potential of a superman.
