How do you know we didn't go for Tom Fellows? Maybe he simply wasn't for sale. All this transfer speculation and guesswork is a waste of time. Do agree with your last sentence though.

I do agree. On the face of it, looks like there was maybe a 5M difference between the two with WBA reported as wanting 20M.

Who knows, Mcateer may just thrive in our system much like Wes.
