I thought it was clear penalty. Couldn’t see how it wasn’t from my seat. But the lack of teeth, fight and idea is going to see us in real trouble. The front four barely had anything about them in most iterations, Chaplin exemplified the terrible decision making that blighted us all game.
We’ve got so much quality, but it’s no good if you do nothing with it. You could see Preston were happy to hold on and give us all the possession we wanted , they’d have been happy with a draw I suspect but must be chuffed to take all three points.
Everything they set out to do came through for them. I don’t blame them for time wasting, taking injury etc we should have been good enough to answer that. Instead we were sh1t. |  |
