Appreciate it’s give and take but we’re 3 games in. Share frustrations re players and approach but the last thing we need is negativity all over the place. Wonder how many we’ll sell for Blackburn?

It’s going to be difficult. Last time we caught the Championship by surprise, this time they’re ready for us. Add to that the turnover in the squad and a transfer window which hasn’t gone entirely to plan, so far at least. Confidence in front of goal is also a problem, we don’t seem to have any! I think last season may have affected the players more than we thought. [Post edited 24 Aug 9:00]

If we click in the final third we’re going to win a huge amount of games. That’s obviously looking like a big IF for now isn’t it!

Some of the vitriol and abuse aimed at players was akin to what you might expect from a side that's downed tools and really toxic. We aren't anything near that. We took more yesterday than we did last time there I think we have a load of bandwagon jumpers I'm afraid who think supporting a team is about always winning and if they don't they throw the toy away. I was glad that success brought people back to the club and it's been so nice seeing PR full for seasons now but a lot of them are Fairweather fans who don't understand football. The performative kicking off at players yesterday was embarrassing. God knows how they would have dealt with say Sheffield Wednesday at home during end of Jewell. That's a disgraceful performance not yesterday. Supporting a team is hard work sometimes! That's how it's meant to be! It's not a right to win or to romp through a league no matter how strong you are. You have to earn it and you have accept it's a difficult game.
