A request on behalf on Minterman ...pls read 15:55 - Aug 29 with 964 viewsArnieM

Good evening all Ipswich Town fans,

I'm trying to achieve the impossible, but I'll try please see below.

Sadly my beloved brother-in-law John Shaw passed away in June aged just 50 after a short illness, he sat in the Sir Bobby Robson lower block 6 section.

John Shaw was a true blue 💙 for 40 years & made the 6 hour round trip for every home weekend game.

I'm going to try a get a minutes applause 👏 going in the 50th minute for the game on Saturday August 30th at home to Derby.

Any help on me trying to achieve this 🙏, would be much appreciated.

His wife Dinah Shaw will be at the game, driving down from Worksop & his brother Karl Nevett driving up from Lee-on-the-Solent.

Kind regards "The Minterman!" 💙 🚜 💙

There are a lot of stickies today but this should really be one.
I hope the fans can make it happen.

RIP John
Once a blue, always a blue

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I shall be in the West stand. I will spread the word and stand and applause on the 50th minutes. Just set a notification on my watch.
Maybe one of the young bucks on here could print a flier of sorts to hand out before the game.
