With the great story he told on the R5l phone in that I caught the tail end of just now.
Apparently back in the day when he was a kid, our Keith was on the bus going home when there was a yell from the back “stop the bus, stop the bus”. The bus screeched to a halt and Alf Ramsey (not yet a Sir), annoyed that he’d missed his stop, got to the front and got off.
Keith thought Mr Ramsey’s chauffeur might be on his day off 😂
