I'd be interested to know how watching a home game at Colchester felt. Anyone here go? From the bit I saw on YouTube, the crowd seemed to be very supportive, - not so easy when you're hardly getting a kick. Were there enough ballboys/ballgirls, or had both clubs left it to the other? Was the children's pre-match area open? Who was doing the 'announcing'? (For what it's worth, I think the ColU guy is very good.) Did they slip in a bit of Modern English at half-time?

I took my daughter along.

There was a bloke with a drum at the back of the stand making a fair bit of noise and trying to start the songs.
Couple of ballboys/girls and balls on cones, with the stewards having to retrieve balls that went into the unused stands.
Children's pre-match bit was open, with magnetic darts, X-Box with Fifa, two table football table and one air-hockey.
No idea on the announcing but the speaker system was shocking (we were sat far right facing the pitch).
Two concession outlets open
Plenty of parking (£4.00 for 3 hours, or £5 for all-day - and 20p "booking fee")
Would we go again? It was only £15 for the pair of us and was something different for a Sunday afternoon.
