We weren’t great first half last week. Jaden isn’t up against Godfrey every week either. This isn’t great and the league is already getting away from us. It’s an awful lot of points to make up. Just so slow, even on good pitches without rain. Too predictable. |  | | |

So far, this season is very 2021-22 esque. Huge squad clear-out, lots of expensive signings that should be the best in the league, a few amazing matches to show potential, but no consistency with them always being followed by miserable games, and ultimately massive underperformance in the league.
There was a lot of promise in that team though and it came good in the end, hence not so much negativity at the time. But the squad clear-out was necessary that time, not so much now. |  |
