That last shot and comment . . . the sigh followed by "Mate, honestly I don't know where to start" hits home with me. I was lucky, I spoke to someone who effectively saved me nearly 15 years ago, but I know others don't feel they can or should do that, even today.

Just offer to listen, without judgement or comment . . .

Very timely considering the news coming out of the women's game at the weekend.
