25/26 Bristol City Away Match Sales 'Profile' Matchday is nearly upon us, tickets remain on sale but will be withdrawn from sale very shortly, so with the exception of a few last minute stragglers, the sales 'profile' follows... The Club announced an allocation of 3414 tickets had been provided, my seatmap count ran 8 lower, but close enough (and likely a miscount by me). - The Club appeared to retain an unusually high 363 seats for Club allocation / steward use (assume no ballot allocation within that, as fixture was always going to reach ST / General sale given the allocation). More on the high 'retention' later. - A total of 40 wheelchair + assistant spaces were available. - A total of 2708 tickets were made available for purchase for across Member, Season Ticket and General Sales. Seats were released in batches: 1523 were made available for 30+ onwards (blocks N37-39), a further 361 added at 15+ (block N40), another 361 (block N35) during 5+, finally an extra 463 added in batches through General Sale (block N41 and N35). 292 seats were never added to the sale (the far left, as facing the pitch, of N35). When Blocks N40 and N36 were added to the sale, 4 or 5 rows from each were not available to purchase (total 195 seats) so I've added them to the 'Club retained' count. Consequently, the resulting total 'retained' count is unusually high (it's been running at around 160-180 normally), if you take the extras from N40 and N36 back out of the count we'd be back to the 'normal' range. Maybe these were extra block / groups bookings and should have been accounted for in 'window sales', I can't tell, so 'window sales' numbers are best-endeavours for this profile. Per Window Sales: - 767 (25.57% of available seats) seats sold in the 30+ window. - 343 (11.43%) seats sold in the 25+ window - 103 (3.43%) seats sold in the 20+ window - 81 (2.70%) seats sold in the 15+ window - 336 (11.20%) seats sold in the 10+ window - 145 (4.83%) seats sold in the 5+ window - 55 (1.83%) seats sold in the Season Ticket window - 770 (25.67%) seats sold in the General window - 108 (3.60%) seats were 'released' but remained unsold - 292 (9.73%) seats were not 'released' for sale Points of note: * The graphs / trends can consider the Middlesbrough sale too, although the 'Boro fixture is after Bristol, the sale completed before. * The Midweek Bristol fixture clearly shows a down-turn in demand across most points windows for obvious reasons, but more than made up for by strong General Sales. * 2600 tickets sold (plus the Club retained seats taking it to a theoretical 'seats occupied' of 2963) for a long-distance midweek fixture is fantastic form! Graphical Comparison: Note: Includes stats for Middlesbrough too.
