I have a Jewish best friend who lives in Paris.

As a result, I don't meet him as often as I used to but I met him today as he is in London for the week.

His view is that Trump shouldn't get the peace prize even if the ceasefire holds because of all else he has done since January which breaches certain criteria for the prize such as encouraging fraternity between nations and promoting democracy and human rights.

I might add that he is not a supporter of Netanyahu who, he thinks, only acts in Bibi's interests, much like Trump.

Forces Netanyahu to apologise to the Qatari government ( apparently they wrote the apology ) for the bombing because he got free stuff from them and is building a golf course there. He is probably getting a lot more from them that we dont know about.

Trump to Netanyahu. "We've given you a lot of weapons, a lot of weapons and you've used them very well."

Donald has been paying for and cheerleading war crimes and war criminals. Trump and Netanyahu should be tried at ICC. Obviously won't happen but talk of the NPP is surely a sick joke.

Poll: If KM goes now, will you applaud him when he returns with his new club?

I don't understand how anybody could look at the pictures of the devastation that Gazans were returning to yesterday and seriously suggest that one of the key sponsors of this crime against humanity should be nominated for a peace prize. Yesterday's self congratulation ceremony was frankly shameful.

This from LBC.

It is "twisted" to hail Donald Trump as a saviour for brokering a peace deal in Gaza as he was "complicit" in the bloodshed, an Israeli MP thrown out of Parliament during the US President's speech has told LBC.

Ofer Cassif was one of two Members of Parliament hurled out of the Knesset on Monday after unfurling a banner reading ‘‘recognise Palestine’, stopping Mr Trump in his tracks as he delivered a speech to the chamber.

Defending his intervention, Mr Cassif told LBC the US President still has blood on his hands and puts “a great deal of blame” on the death of nearly 70,000 Palestinians killed since Hamas’ attacks on October 7.

He said on Tonight with Andrew Marr: “We put some of the blame, a great deal of the blame, for the genocide and the sacrifice of the Israeli hostages on Trump himself and his administration.

“Let's not forget that he supported the government of Israel last March, when the government of Israel itself was the one that violated the previous agreement with Hamas.

Israeli forces raid home of deported prisoner in West Bank
The Israeli military has carried out a series of overnight raids across the occupied West Bank, storming several neighbourhoods and villages in the cities of Ramallah, el-Bireh, and Hebron, according to Wafa.

Israeli troops raided the home of Issam al-Froukh – a freed Palestinian recently sent to Gaza – in the Ein Munjid neighbourhood of Ramallah, ransacking its contents.

At least seven homes were raided in the village of Deir Ibzi, west of Ramallah, where residents were subjected to field interrogations. Israeli forces entered the village of Ein Arik and the town of Nilin, also west of the city.

Israeli settlers also set fire to a vehicle in the town of Beitin, east of Ramallah, at dawn.

Elsewhere in the southern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the towns of Idhna and al-Koum, west of Hebron, and turned two homes into military barracks.

Earlier, we reported that Israeli forces opened fire, wounding at least two people and arresting several others in Tulkarem and in al-Issawiya, near occupied East Jerusalem.

I'm not sure what number this issue is in the peace plan.
