Wilshere to Luton 22:58 - Oct 12 with 1500 views | catch74 | If he does well, will piss off the scum, quite a few would have been happy for him to stay and over from Thorup.

Wilshere to Luton on 23:12 - Oct 12 with 1434 views | IndependentlyBlue | Amazed that he only played 125 games for the Gooners and just over 200 senior games in total but 30 odd England caps

Wilshere to Luton on 10:26 - Oct 13 with 771 views | JammyDodgerrr | He was going to get it, and then they must've got word manning was becoming available, because they pulled out. Right choice at the time probably, but I'm sure there's a few annoyed by this.

If you look at what Norwich need - a coach able to improve young players, and get more from the XI than the sum of its parts - it feels like Wilshere may well have been a more sensible appointment than Manning. All the content I've seen of Wilshere managing Arsenal's Under 18s (and there's a lot out there) paints him in an excellent light. Think it's a great appointment for Luton.
Wilshere to Luton on 13:36 - Oct 13 with 453 views | SuperKieranMcKenna | Good luck to him, always happy to see someone young and British given a chance. Especially as Chairmen seem to recycle all the usual failures because they are a name.
Wilshere to Luton on 13:47 - Oct 13 with 406 views | Kentish_Tractor | I'm quite sceptical about how successful he's going to be. Since his move into coaching I've often wondered if he'd have enough between the ears to make it as a first team manager. He's never seemed particularly articulate or astute in any of the interviews I've watched - although granted most were as a player. He's still very young of course (even younger than KM was when he took charge of us) and has time to learn - but my initial thoughts are that he's going to struggle. Massive difference between youth coaching and managing at first team level. Granted he has arguably the best squad in the league. But how well does he know League One? I wish him well and that he goes on to have a successful career.
