Boro look at their most dangerous when we attack them 20:50 - Oct 17 with 379 viewsRIPbobby

We don't score and then they break quick with all our players upfield.

Fair play to Boro they look well up for it.

We have done ok, but we have also tried to give them a goal for 20 minutes.

Cajuste not doing nearly enough. For all the rolls Royce and cheat code nonsense, haven’t seen much of it this season.

They play a bit like Forest did last year. Soak it up and counter with numbers, pace and directness.

Cajuste is a home match only player in my eyes. For away matches I would play 3 centre midfielders Azor (ball winner), Taylor (work rate) and Nunes (quality passer). Then play Phillogene and Sammy in behind Hirst. This team would play much narrower as our width doesn't work away. It would also make us much less predictable.

All opponents do is get young fit players in to get in the way and change them on the hour for the same type with more energy. Long diagonal balls kill us all the time with players up field. I think the above also gives Davis much more space to do his thing.

But (rider here - I'm hardly an expert tactician!) it's a tactical thing not just individual errors - our high press left not just our back door, but the side door, the bifold patio door, and all the downstairs windows wide open for them to just streak through with ease.

It was heartbreaking, watching through hands over face from behind the sofa stuff.
