With the ball, if we could just take our chances I'm not massively concerned.
But without the ball it's shocking. Do we have the personnel to get that right? Some of it has to be attitude as well. Like we don't think we have to do all the nasty stuff, the hard running, the tracking back and just having the sense to smell danger.

Yes, the finishing was very poor tonight.
To a degree you can accept you have nights like that on the finishing side.
But I can't accept the we we defend balls from out wide. Time and again it is so easy to get crossed in against us and time and again we are statues on the middle. All our players seem to run towards the line and not go and stop a ball or mark men. It's suicide. | |

You literally cannot get 3 points from a game without scoring. Analysing how we play with the ball includes whether we can stick it in the net. In fact, it's a pretty integral part. It can't just be glossed over. Last match - if Hirst had stuck the pen away, different game. This week, 1 shot on target from 12 in the first half - if we'd stuck some of those away, different match. It's absolutely crucial to score when you're on top. Not to be concerned about that is mind-boggling.
