Will McKenna get longer than Burley to fix it?

No excuses with all the money that has been spent.

Absolutely.

Burley did not have anywhere near the amount of money to spend.

If you measure the performance of a manager by reference to league position versus budget, McKenna is deep in the relegation zone.

And Burley had credit in the bank having finished 5th in the Premier League. He won TWENTY league games in one premier league season.

Chalk. Cheese. McKenna is on borrowed time.

I don’t think I could ever bring myself to go against McKenna but I do wonder, if we lose to WBA what kind of discussions will be being had behind the scenes and what kind of pressure he’ll under.

That felt a lot like the Grimsby 3-0, and I was there.

However, I still hold hope that we can turn it around.

But.... pick your best XI and stick with it for at least 5 matches in a row!!

Anyone defending KM after that …

Burley did better than KM but ultimately was rightly dismissed after relegation and a 3-0 defeat to Grimsby.

KM lost 3-0 at home to a newly promoted club. Wow. Abysmal.

Just mathematically autos are slipping away. We probably need 2.3 points per game from here which, with current woes feels impossible.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

He should be under pressure already. He’s the highest paid manager in the championship and results have been poor. If he doesn’t WIN against WBA it would be poor.

I'm glad it's not just me feeling this way. I'm making zero excuses, but I will never forget Bradford attacking us to win 2-1 at Portman Road. Honestly you'd have thought their lives depended on it!
I'm sorry but I don't see a promotion push. I see midtable mediocrity, an over hyped play off push? We're just not that good. We take forever just to get out of our own half. Charlton like Middlesbrough went straight through us , clear, direct. We try to pass it in.
Something has to change.
