To assess the state of the squad . 3 losses in a row would certainly point to major concerns as to whether the team has enough motivation and players clearly out of form are still being put in the team. Last night felt like a cup game with so many changes. Surely with players regularly getting a fortnight off for internationals , they can manage 3 games in 8 days ? To be honest it will be 3 from 3, McKenna never used to lose back to back but he does now.
Fundamentally he has little time to change the system, won't anyway, so unless WBA play like us second half I fully expect them to win given what I have seen so far this season.
