I’ve just mentioned this on another thread. We could put Matusiwa infront of the back four and two of Tayls/Nunez/Cajuste ahead. We’re losing a 10 then though and it’s a bit like fiddling while Rome burns. The notional shape, that isn’t rigid anyway, is the lest of our problems imo. |  |

Same against Boro.
We don’t need the XI best individuals, we need to find a team. I think the left sided central midfield role is a big problem. We need to do the less sexy stuff better like Luongo did, Matusiwa needs more help next to him. I’m not sure if Taylor is the answer but Cajuste doesn’t look to be either. Fix that and the number 10 and we’ll be a much more effective team. |  | | |
