If that had been Half Time thoughts it would be more reasonable, but there were some good moments and one or two nicely executed patterns of play. And results at the top have gone well for us. So, we are nearer Top Two (the goal) and Top Six (the acceptable second best before the season started) than we were yesterday, with Egeli having his best game for us, Hirst rediscovering his scoring touch, and the "No Away Games won" hoodoo just before a run of three away games this month. There are some glaring "learning points" from that match for several players, but definitely more than a pint half full for me! |  |
