| Most embarrassing moment of your life? 11:07 - Nov 7 with 5901 views | MrPotatoHead | Anyone got any funny ones they want to share? As a child I got my head stuck in the railings of Buckingham Palace once on a school trip. Put it right through for some reason, presumably to get a closer look at goings on and I couldn't wiggle it out for a good few minutes, everyone was laughing at me and I still think about it occasionally. Thankfully didn't need the fire service to cut any rails. | | | | |

| Most embarrassing moment of your life? on 22:17 - Nov 10 by Plums | Mine was bright orange (called BOB - Big Orange Bedford) and 2.8l so it was a lot of fun. It also used to ferry bandmates, kit and anyone who wanted a lift around. We quickly found if the floor wasn't covered with a board, it got quite hot for those riding in the back! Tell me about it. The one we used to nab a lift (blue + characterful rust) had no carpet. In summer one felt like a tv dinner (paraphrase Die Hard). Or seats. But it was transport! I always thought Bedfords were friendlier than Transits, somehow. Stupid thoughts but happy memories. [Post edited 11 Nov 2025 8:41]
