That game was brilliant but overall RoI were very poor in the group. The compulsory red card to the opposition in our home matches didn't even help.

Agreed, not much than a passing interest in England (or international football in general) but OP is a strange take. Tuchelball is dull but so was Southgate and basically everyone qualifies for the 150 team tournaments these days. Roll on Wrexham game.

That’s because qualifying has been relatively straight forward for England. A mere formality, whereas for the Irish they had to get a result just to stand a chance to qualify. Football tends to be more exciting when jeopardy is involved.
