I'm not talking mince pies(although they ARE rubbish), figgy pudding, turkey etc here, I'm talking about the increasing trend for supermarkets(in particular) to add needless mulling, stuffing, mulling spices and, worst of all, fruit in cheese.
Yesterday Mrs Badger brought home some special 'christmas burgers' because 'I thought you and The Lad might enjoy them'.
And to be fair, we did, once I'd slung out the sachet of cranberry sauce and 'stuffing pellet'.

No, not tried panettone in Italy. In truth, while I like chocolate, cake, desserts etc I really don’t have much of a sweet tooth and tend to opt for a starter or if I do go the whole hog, something simple like vanilla ice cream. |  | | |

Sure there's no better time to let rip then post Xmas Dinner? I personally enjoy a good bout of bottom burps during the Queens/Kings speech. Believe Liz also enjoyed enjoyed letting rip on the bum trumpet after a rich Xmas dinner.
