I am not sure if this has been done before as a topic, but I was alerted to this by an article about Toni Basil in the Guardian. And the fact that it has a different title makes it particularly obscure.

Perhaps a bit of a cheat but the German version of what was called in English The Model.

I first came across the German version 40 odd years ago on an NME cassette, and the German lyrics add to its hypnotic nature.
