Below average first half but some really good stuff in the second. I'd love to see what our XG was, as it felt like chance after chance was spurned.
Credit to KM for starting to pick a more settled side and tweaking the style to be much more direct.
Loads to work on not least finishing but to be 5pts off 2nd at this stage, with the general consensus being that we have been levels below our potential, is really encouraging. [Post edited 20 Dec 2025 17:07]

Despite a couple of wobbles, we controlled that game - they came to disrupt the flow, which they did well, and made for an unpleasant sight at times.
For me the main negative was a couple of loose balls at the back, which put us under threat. I thought we’d largely eliminated those, but guess it’s always possible given our style.
Big positive - we took 3 of 4 big chances. That’s a turn around, and will win games for us. |  | | |

Hmmm feels like it would have been more than 3.03. I guess some weren't quite as gilt edged as they appeared
