Right hand side transfer business... 16:38 - Dec 28 with 631 viewsBellevue_Blue

We really have made a complete hash of the right hand side of the pitch over the last year or so haven't we. We've spent an awful lot on fees and wages on three players who aren't able to impact a Championship team.

- Johnson - Huge mistake (will likely take a loss on the value of the contract)
- Ogebene - Huge mistake (will definitely take a loss)
- Mcateer - Huge whiff (will definitely take a loss)

20m+ in fees + a whole load spent on each contract.

Very tough to get it this wrong and succeed.

Err... and now we're shoehorning Walle into that role, to which I doubt he's really suited.

Well, he's already said that he currently prefers to play on the right wing, so I'm not sure saying we are shoehorning him in there is totally fair.

Walle Egeli: In the Long-Term I'll Be a Number 10 7th Nov 2025 06:00
Town forward Sindre Walle Egeli says he sees himself playing in a more central role longer-term at the Blues under manager Kieran McKenna. 15

However, I've long thought that KMcs intentions is for Burns and McAteer to be fighting it out on the right and Nunez/Walle Egeli to be sharing the 10.

What’s the latest on Harry Clarke? Injured still? Assume we won’t see him In a Town shirt again.

I doubt Walle, aged 19, is going to criticise his manager in public. He's potentially a Premier League player, although probably not as a right winger so we could well make a profit on him if he goes the right way.

?? So the kid is lying to fit your narrative? Why did he also play on the right for Norway U21s and for Nordsjælland then?

Were they shoehorning him in too?
