EFL Yellow Card Accumulation Rules
The disciplinary thresholds for players in the EFL (Championship, League One, League Two) are as follows:
5 Yellow Cards: Results in a one-match suspension if accumulated up to and including the team's 19th league match of the season.
10 Yellow Cards: Results in a two-match suspension if accumulated up to and including the team's 37th league match of the season.
15 Yellow Cards: Results in a three-match suspension if accumulated before the final day of the relevant league season (prior to the play-off matches).
20 Yellow Cards: The sanction is determined by a Regulatory Commission.
