This appears to be a reoccurring problem where Senior supporters are having to climb several steps to reach their seats not just at Charlton. Generally they all want a grandstand view but at least 90% of stadiums are not fit for purpose to make Senior supporting a good experience without lifts in the stands. Therefore more games will be disrupted from medical emergencies. Each fan should consider if they are fit and able to attend a match.

Given the numbers that attend matches the number of emergencies seem remarkably few to me. Charlton appear to have been a bit unlucky this season - hopefully the latest person at the Valley will be ok.
The last serious one at PR I can remember is a couple of years ago which given crowds of 27k plus doesn’t seem unreasonable.
Whatever you do, people will get ill on odd occasions, sometimes seriously. It’s just how it is. The main thing is that clubs have first aiders, docs and defibrillators etc to hand which I’m sure the vast majority do.
