So, I thought the same, but the zoom out shows the keeper is in front of the defender. Remember it is the 2nd last player and you normally think that the keeper is the first but the keeper was in front of Haland.

If that's the case then why did it take so long for them to decide Harland was offside. Surely if that's the rule him being behind Pope would immediately class him as offside. They then wouldn't be looking at his foot being behind the defender to class him as offside |  | | |

It’s subjective not for the fact he was fractionally offside but how much he limited the defender or keeper from stopping the shot. Which was pretty much zero. |  | | |
