I don't mean to be rude, but this just sounds like a Football Manager approach. Casually pick up a couple of £15m players who will be better than Jaden.

Been widely discussed (inc. by KM) that he had injuries last season and played almost exclusively on the right, which he doesn't enjoy. He also only started five games for us.

Judging him on that feels incredibly harsh.

He's the Championship's most dangerous left winger by a margin and more than deserves a shot at the PL next season.

No not rude at all. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I give mine even if it's an unpopular one. And yes it cpuld be interpreted as a FM game approach, but then again sometimes that works. It does for Brighton and Brentford for example. But also I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. Jayden didnt do it on the Prem for Villa either and they have a better team than we do.

Jack Clarke was also the most dangerous left winger in the Championship before we bought him. And unfortunately he was also largely ineffective in the Premier League.

My honest opinion is we need more robust/physical players to compete in the Prem or it's just going to be an exact replica of last season.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Philogene and I don't want him to leave right now as what he does this season will be incredibly important to the promotion push. But if we can invest in two physical players with prem potential then I would take it.

Poll: Assume we have the money for one more big signing. Where do you spend it?

£30m I'd take it. Yes he's scored some fantastic goals and we need a player like him in this division, but not sure he's as good in the prem, and would allow us to buy a couple of £15m replacements (a direct replacement and a striker)

There are plenty of small/slight players in the PL who are effective (e.g Le Fee is 5ft8!) you just need quality ball retention. Probably need a mixture in the team but size is not a limiting factor.

Again and again we see players take time to integrate and come up to speed under McK before becoming generally excellent and again and again some TWTDers want us to sell those players and bring in cheaper ones who they believe will be immediately better, is there any point in even trying to understand these people anymore.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?
