Pre match Light show 15:08 - Jan 21 with 2299 viewspingu67

I don't want this to sound moany, just a slight concern regarding the pre match light show

I think it looks great for a night game, but I am concerned that it could potentially have some side implications for anyone who suffers from Epilepsy as it would be terrible if it had a negative impact on anyones health

I'm sure the club have fully considered this but as I say just a slight concern

Everyone on this thread are far too polite.

Say it like it is, they're utter dogsh1t

The Americanisation of football might be an Ashton wet dream but for the traditional fan they're just one more step towards turning football into the sanitised bollox it's become.

I've stopped going to Wembley to watch England precisely because of that, hope Portman Rd never becomes an "experience" like that. I might be old and grumpy but if you want my money, such crp makes you far less likely to see it....

I agree with you and have to say it looked very low rent on TV.
Having witnessed a couple of these light shows at other grounds now, I think they only really work in the 'bowl' stadiums such as Leicester (where the fox eyes on the screen really add something) and Middlesbrough where it' creates quite an intimidating scene.

Our ground is just the wrong shape and somewhere like Brentford looks as though Bob's just done the National Lampoon Christmas Vacation thing with his garden shed.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?
