It's not something I've ever done in nearly 60 years of watching the club.
It's counter-productive anyway, and it won't change the fact that we have to get behind the squad and players we have until the end of the season.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with the players we have. Our system is pretty awesome and takes a lot of getting used to. Modern football is all about sharing goals around the team. I think it will be rare for a McKenna team to have a 20 goal a season player. |

I completely agree. I don't have the equanimity or self control to refrain from criticism and even over-reaction on the message board.
But at /games/, I don't know what goes through people's heads when they're having a go at their own players. Supporters gonna support, haters gonna hate. We should totally be getting behind our team. We might not be getting paid for it, but that's our job. We can scarcely complain at player X for not doing his job when we don't do ours. |
You're right, it is our job.
Those who argue that it's the players' job to lift the fans (rather than vice versa) should think about why we haven't won a single game this year after going behind, yet never lost a match after taking the lead. |  | | |

I think there is something in what you say.
Booing the ref is also not something I engage in anyway. Maybe it's partly because I also played rugby when young.
I take the view that the ref is nearer to the play than me, and is trying to do their best.
And of course last season didn't suggest to me that VAR is any better. [Post edited 4 Feb 11:55]
