I am wondering if we are getting to the point where the cups should be scrapped, as clubs just want to go out to focus on the league. Why should fans buy tickets to watch that? What is the point? I am sad about how money is ruining the game, as I used to love the FA Cup. Sadly clubs play for money first then glory.
The number of teams playing weakened teams across FA and League cup is stupid.
If money was more equal we’d be back to playing for glory first but that ship has sailed. And it’s doubly bad when even if you have a run in the FA cup one of the big boys just sweeps it up anyway almost every year with their ridiculous squads.

Regardless of league position.
Club and players should rightly play every game to win.

Watching on BBC their intro about the magic was all historic. My 20 year old son doesn't think it is magic because he has never seen Ipswich take it seriously and always sees borring top 6 teams winning it. I was there when Ipswich won at Wembley and I still sort of see the magic. But my generation is dwindling. Good to see Mick liftling the trophey on BBC intro. I remember it as if it was yesterday. I’m only half joking when I say that maybe we should bin the cups but reintroduce aversion of the inter-toto but with 5 or six leagues in Europe. Second tier plays second tier in those countries. Would make for some fun ‘European’ games under the lights and away trips. 😂😂😂
