This seems to be a sport at which we are quite good, given Lizzy Arnold won two golds in it.
What we seem to do is try to find promising athletes in other sports, and train them for this particular discipline.
I don't suppose that approach would work if one was talking about winter sports like skiing. |  | | |

As an ex-poster once said, the Olympic team are very good at sports that involve sitting down, looks like the Winter team have taken that on board and errrr…well..no not run with it…but you know stepped u….no that’s not going to work either.. |  | | |
